Capabilities

AI across teaching, learning, assessment and administration

AI capabilities for university departments and academic affairs systems that embed in your existing teaching platforms.

AI course assistant and Q&A

A course assistant built on textbooks, slides and references that answers after-class questions, breaks down exercises and guides students' thinking.

  • Knowledge bases separated by course / school
  • Guided answers instead of handing out solutions
  • Connects to student IDs and course platform accounts

Assignment and lab report grading

Automatically grades objective questions, lab reports and some open-ended questions, drafting comments and tagging weak areas for instructor review.

  • Batch first-pass grading of assignments / lab reports
  • Support for short-answer, essay and coding assignments
  • Instructor review and re-marking

Student profiles and study paths

Recommends remedial and elective courses based on grades, credits and prerequisite mastery, forming a learn—practice—assess—alert loop.

  • Course mastery and credit progress
  • Course-failure risk and academic alerts
  • Department learning dashboard

Syllabus and courseware generation

Helps instructors draft syllabi, lab schedules and courseware outlines from the program curriculum, making course preparation faster.

  • Generated by credits, week and curriculum
  • Support for designing lab sessions and major projects
  • Reusable teaching resources for the department
Scenarios

Process

Pilot with one department or course

  1. 01

    Choose a pilot course

Pick one department or course, and define the instructors, number of students and problems to solve.

  2. 02

    Connect courseware and platforms

Import textbooks, slides and question banks, and connect academic affairs / course platform accounts and permissions.

  3. 03

    Run and evaluate the pilot

Over one teaching term, collect data on answer quality, grading consistency and instructor review feedback.

  4. 04

    Roll out across departments

Adjust the knowledge base and rules based on pilot results, then replicate to more courses and departments.

FAQ

FAQ

Won't students just use AI to copy answers?

By default, the course assistant uses guided answers: it breaks down the problem, prompts the student's reasoning and points to textbook chapters instead of giving the full answer. Instructors can adjust this per course.

Is AI grading reliable?

AI handles batch first-pass grading and draft comments; instructors keep the right to review and re-mark. Objective questions can be scored directly, while AI mainly assists with open-ended and coding assignments.

Does student data leave campus?

Everything can be deployed on an AI Compute Appliance or in your campus server room, so student information, grades and assignments stay within the campus network.

Do we need to replace our academic affairs or course platform?

No. AI capabilities connect to your existing platforms through APIs and embedding, so students and instructors use the tools they already know.
